City Announces Plan to Acquire 67 Acres of Land for Commercial Development
The City of Westerville announced plans to acquire 67 acres of land in the Westar Center of Business, a growing epicenter of commerce located east of Interstate 71 along Polaris Parkway in Westerville. Westerville City Council will consider the $6.7 million land purchase, along with $9.5 million in tax increment financing (TIF) in infrastructure reimbursements on Tuesday, June 4.

WPD Lt. Paul Scowden Graduates from Prestigious Law Enforcement Program
Lt Paul Scowden of the Westerville Division of Police is one of 29 recent graduates from the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) program. Scowden was also named the recipient of the Chief Michael C. Kallai CLEE Award for academic performance and service to the profession and community.

Westerville Again Earns AAA Fitch Bond Rating
The City of Westerville again earned a “AAA” bond rating from Fitch Ratings. This is the fourth consecutive year the City has earned the ranking, the highest in the Fitch scale, representing "investment grade" organizations considered financially reliable and stable with low to moderate credit risk.
