Welcome to the Westerville Community Center. It’s like a playground for grown-ups, but with actual playgrounds for kids, too. All 96,600 square feet are dedicated to classes, fitness, swimming, meetings and just being active together.

The Community Center has something for everyone, including:

  • Leisure pool with water slides and a lazy river
  • 8-lane, 25-yard lap/competition pool with diving boards
  • 1/10 mile walking/running track
  • Gymnasium with two regulation-size basketball courts, four smaller courts or four regulation size volleyball courts
  • 5,456 sq. ft. fitness room
  • Indoor climbing wall ranging from beginner difficulty to 5.10+ overhang
  • 1,958 sq. ft. aerobics room with suspended wood floor
  • Full locker rooms
  • 3,515 sq. ft. program room that divides into three smaller rooms
  • Beautiful, relaxing public meeting areas
  • Youth game room
  • An indoor playground
  • A "Sprouts Wait Room" child care area for ages 6 months to 9 years
The Community Center opened in November 2001 on 25 acres of gently rolling green space, accentuated by a two-acre pond. Convenient from anywhere in the Westerville area, the Community Center is located near steadily growing business developments, I-71 and the major intersection of Polaris Parkway and Cleveland Avenue.
