The Fitness Room, located in the upper level of the north side of the building, has over 45 cardiovascular machines including treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, cycles, rower and more.

The strength training area includes 20 Cybex, LifeFitness and Paramount machines and a free weight area that has a variety of dumbbells (from two pounds to 100 pounds), benches, racks, cable cross-over, a functional trainer and an assisted chin-dip machine for your complete lifting needs.

The track is one tenth of a mile long and alternates directions daily with access to both walkers and runners. The Fitness Room and Track can be utilized by persons 14 years of age and older.

And if you need childcare, the Sprouts Wait Room makes working out even easier.

Orientation for New Pass Holders

New to exercise and not sure how to use the machines? Fitness will show you how to use the cardiovascular equipment, discuss Fitness Room policies and answer any questions. Stop by the fitness desk or call 614-901-6502 to schedule a personal orientation.  

Introductory Strength Training

Would you like to learn more about strength training in the Community Center fitness area? A free introductory strength training class is offered to pass holders on how to use the Cybex and LifeFitness equipment. This service is available at no cost, and by appointment only. Please see Fitness Room staff to schedule your training. 

Personal Training Options

Degreed and certified health professionals will coach pass holders to achieve optimum fitness results. Pass holders may choose from a list of approved and available trainers posted on the Fitness Room bulletin board. Prices and appointments are arranged between the pass holder and trainer.
