The Fitness Room, located in the upper level of the north side of the building, has over 45 cardiovascular machines including treadmills, ecliptic's, climbers, cycles and a rower. Seated steppers and Sci fit ergo-meters are also available in the cardio area. Six TV monitors are placed within easy viewing and can be accessed through radio frequencies on your Ipod.

The strength training area includes 20 Cybex, LifeFitness and Paramount selectorized machines and a free weight area that has a variety of dumbbells (from two pounds to 100 pounds), benches, racks, cable cross-over, a functional trainer and an assisted chin-dip machine for your complete lifting needs. The track is one tenth of a mile long and alternates directions daily with access to both walkers and runners. The Fitness Room and Track can be utilized by persons 14 years of age and older.

Orientation offered for all New Pass holders
Are a new Community Center pass holder? All new Fitness Room users are required to complete an orientation. Fitness staff will show you how to use the cardiovascular equipment, discuss Fitness Room policies and ask you to fill out a health history questionnaire that will be kept on file.

Free introductory strength training class offered to novice exercisers.
This small group session will focus on teaching proper exercise execution, set up and usage of strength training equipment. Available at no cost and by appointment only; please see Fitness Room staff to schedule.
