How do I know if I am a Westerville resident? Am I a Westerville resident if my child attends Westerville City Schools?
- We suggest prior to registration, to click here and type in your address to see if you are a Westerville resident. Resident rates/registration are provided to those who live or work full time within corporate City limits and pay income tax to the City of Westerville, therefore, not every family that attends Westerville City Schools is considered a resident.
Why is there a virtual waiting room for camp registration, and how does it work?
- Due to the high volume of web users, a virtual waiting room will be used to support a smooth camp registration process on Friday, February 20 (resident registration day). The virtual waiting room will open at 11:50 AM, and the registration queue will open approximately 10 minutes before registration begins at 12:00 PM. If you are on the registration site prior to 11:50 AM, you will need to refresh the page at that time to enter the queue. Please click here to learn more about how the virtual waiting room works.

- Camps cannot be prorated for part-time attendance, we currently do not offer any sibling discounts for any of our camp offerings. Nut Camps, Berry Camps, and Heritage Kids Camp are based on a full five-day experience.
Can I break down my payments for camp overtime?
- Select camps such as Nut Camps, Berry Camps, Teen Fun Club, and Heritage Kids Camp have a $50 minimum payment due at the time of registration per child for each registered week of camp. This allows the household the ability to defer their payments over time. All camps must be paid in full by Friday, May 1st. Campers will be unenrolled from the program if camp is not paid in full by May 1st. All other camps are to be paid in full at the time of registration.
When is my ePact form (medical and emergency form) due?
- All campers MUST have their ePact (medical and emergency form) due on Friday, May 1st. Returning families are required to update and submit their form by this date. Campers will be unenrolled from the program if we do not receive your ePact form by May 1. - Waitlist for the 2026 day camp season will not be avaliable. If your family does not get a spot in camp, please check the camp page registration page regularly if spots become avaliable in the camp you are interested in. Are there any days this camp season you are not offering camp?

What is the difference between Nut Camps, Heritage Kids Camp, Berry Camps and Kids Fun Club?
- Nut Camps offer a classic day camp experience with campers grouped by age. Each week includes Friday field trips and swimming twice a week at the Community Center and Highlands Park Aquatic Center. Extended care is included in the camp fee, making Nut Camps a great choice for families seeking a traditional camp setting with age-based groups and longer care hours. Enrollment is limited to 65 campers per camp.
- Heritage Kids Camp is a completely an outdoor camp for ages 6-12 years old the camp runs 8-5 p.m. with no extended care and only swimming on Fridays, this camp does not go on field trips. HKC is the best option for families that want to keep siblings together in a full day camp setting. Enrollment is limited to 30 campers per week.
- Kids Fun Club is a flexible, outdoor, drop-in summer program held at park shelters. Families register for the full summer at a specific location and time, and campers may attend on the days that fit their schedule. This is an affordable option for families seeking flexibility. Kids Fun Club does not include swimming or field trips and operates as a half-day program at all locations except Hoff Woods Park. Programs may be canceled due to inclement weather or low attendance, so families should have a backup childcare plan. Registration is for the full summer and is paid in advance.
- Berry Camp stays fully on site and does not include swimming. Campers enjoy themed weeks with creative and active play, on-site enrichment, weekly Cool Days, and their choice of after-camp clubs. Extended care is included in camp fees, making Berry Camp a great option for families who need longer hours or prefer an on-site program with campers of a similar age. Enrollment is limited to 45 campers per camp for a supportive camp experience.
- All formats of our day camp program have a new theme each week so it is a different experience for the campers and new activities each week.
Can I meet my camper's counselor before camp starts?
- Yes! We will host an open house night prior to the day camp where you can meet your camp counselors and see the camp space before camp starts. The open house night is Thursday, May 28th from 5:30-7pm. Registered families will receive detailed information about Open House.
