Join us for a morning of spring events on Saturday, April 15 at the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave! 

1. To kick off the fun, the Westerville Parks Foundation Bunny Hop 5K will start at 8 a.m. This is a family-friendly event for runners and walkers of all ages. The 2017 course will begin at the Sports Complex and run through scenic trails at Heritage Park. Participants will take home a finishers’ medal, t-shirt, a chocolate treat and a photo with the Bunny.

There will also be a separate 100-meter childrens’ dash at 9 a.m. for kids age 7 and under. 

Funds raised from the Bunny Hop 5K support the Westerville Parks Foundation to further help maintain Westerville’s parks, enhance the community through the arts and ensure that all residents can participate in recreation programming regardless of their ability to pay.

2. Your kids will have a blast at the new Kidz Zone which opens at 9 a.m. before the egg hunt! Inflatables, carnival games, a petting zoo, music, crafts and more will be available to those under the age of 17 for just $5. Tickets can be purchased at the event.

3. This year’s Spring Eggstravaganza will be bigger and better than ever with over 8,000 eggs at the NEW LOCATION, the Westerville Sports Complex. The first hunt begins promptly 10 a.m. so please arrive early and don’t forget your basket. This is a rain or shine event. Sponsored by the Lions Club of Westerville.
