FAMILY PORTRAIT FROM NATURE (Sertoma Shelter at Everal)
Tuesday, July 15th - Activity # 307126-03
What would your Mom look like if you made her out of flowers?
How about a pet made from sticks? What natural objects would
you make yourself out of? For this fun art activity, you’ll collect a
variety of natural materials from the park, then work together to
create and decorate a fun, nature-y family portrait!
BEE BUFFET (Millstone)
Tuesday, July 22nd - Activity # 307126-04
Don’t bee afraid—bees are our friends! Join us at Millstone Creek
Park and learn all about these tiny creatures that help plants
grow. Then we’ll make and decorate up-cycled planters, which
we’ll sow with bee-friendly seeds. Take your planter home with
you and see if it blooms into a bee buffet!
MAKE A FOSSIL! (Olde Town Park)
Tuesday, July 29th - Activity # 307126-05
Come out to Old Towne Park and explore nature and pick up some
cool natural objects. We’ll use special dough to create fossils of
the objects you found, then you can take the fossil home with you
as a memento of your day out in one of Westerville’s parks!
