Learn how to compost in your backyard! Together with the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio and Franklin County Soil and Water, the City of Westerville Green Team is hosting informative sessions to instruct residents on how to begin composting and the environmental benefits of doing so. Each household will receive one 80 gallon composter, a kitchen composter and a turning tool. Participants are encouraged to check with their homeowner's association prior to registering to confirm that composting is permitted.
Classes are being held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Buckeye Room B at the Westerville Community Center. Register at the Westerville Community Center today for one of these informative sessions! The class fee is $30 per household and is open to Westerville residents.
