Interested in backyard conservation? Franklin Soil and Water will be on hand to teach how you can improve water quality with rain barrels and rain gardens, why native plants are so important, how composting improves soil conditions and proper lawn care techniques. This program offers one reimbursement of up to $50 toward the purchase of an approved rain barrel, compost bin, native plants or native trees for eligible residents.
