Join us on an adventure on the Scioto River. We will travel to downtown Columbus to paddle the river and soak in the great views of the city skyline with a nice mix of nature. Certified instructors will provide a Paddling SmartStart introduction to canoeing. After the paddling introduction, the float will begin at the river. Participants 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Transportation and lunch will be provided along with canoes, life vests, paddles and guides to help along the float. Participants should park at the Sports Complex where transportation will be provided to and from the launch site. We will leave promptly at 8 a.m.
