The Westerville Division of Fire (WFD) is joining the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in encouraging families to create and practice a home escape plan in the event of a fire. The practice will be a central theme of WFD’s annual Fire Prevention Week Open House on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1-4 p.m. at Station 111 (400 W. Main St.)
WFD’s open house event will help families start preparing while participating in fun activities like games and puppet shows. Can’t make it to Station 111? Westerville Stations 112 (727 E. Schrock Rd.) and 113 (355 N. Spring Rd.) will hold open house hours and offer tours from 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 13, also.
