The Westerville Division of Police and Franklin County Public Health will host a free, community training on the opiate crisis on Monday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Westerville City Hall Chambers, 21 S. State St.
During this event, participants will learn about opiates, addiction and how to administer Naloxone (commonly known as Narcan) to stop a life threatening overdose from either opiods or heroin. Attendees will have the option to take home a free Naloxone kit at the end of the training. Registration is not required.
