The City is creating a plan to improve mobility options that enhance quality of life for residents and support ongoing growth and development. Please join us for a public open house on Thursday, Aug. 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Westerville Community Center, 350 N. Cleveland Ave. to offer ideas and feedback on how mobility may shape future infrastructure, transportation and workforce trends in Westerville.
At the Open House, these topics will be discussed:
- MAP EXISTING MOBILITY OPTIONS, including walking, biking, driving and transit.
- HIGHLIGHT GAPS IN MOBILITY INFRASTRUCTURE AND POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS.
- DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY, one of the most drastically changing fields through techonology.
The Mobility Plan will take into account traffic counts and intersection analysis, ride sharing, street designs for our community, truck routes and all users needing Westerville’s roads, trails and sidewalks. The plan will be coordinated with Westerville Parks and Recreation, the Recreation and Opens Space (PROS) plan, MORPC’s Regional Corridor Analysis, ODOT improvement plans and Central Ohio Transit Authority’s (COTA) transit improvements. This information, with your comments, will help shape the plan, as well as inform Capital Improvement Projects and the Westerville Age-Friendly Initiative.
Don’t miss this opportunity to become informed and participate in your community!
