The City of Westerville's Street Tree program promotes environmental sustainability and enhances Westerville's well-being by expanding our urban canopy to improve our streetscapes. An increased number of trees contributes to improved air quality, reduced stormwater runoff, and significant carbon storage. Additionally, they enhance the City's aesthetic appeal and can potentially increase property values.
The program coordinates with a contractor to prune street trees in areas of the City. Only trees that need clearance or pose a safety hazard will be pruned. The map indicates the areas that will be pruned in 2026.
Please note that map areas may change due to weather conditions and other factors.
